With this work you can discover a world deep in your own eyes, while you are carried along with an instructing voice. Observatory of the Self 8.1 is a performance of max. 20 participants and Observatory of the Self 8.2 is accompanied with an audio recording of a voice giving you instructions and hypnotic nature sound.

OBSERVATORIES OF THE SELF is a continuous series of interactive kinetic installations that provide space for physical-meditative reflection. The artworks are worlds in themselves, worlds without (prejudices) judgments. The hypnotic effect of the revolving artworks result in an alienation of daily life and encourage a renewed focus, both on their own (inner) world and on the universe. They are observatories in which you are taken to other levels of consciousness.
